The course is intended for the beginners. After completing A1 level the learner will be able to:
-=-provide information about oneself, one’s activities, one’s life;
-=-communicate about one’s everyday life;
-=-write and understand letters, cards;
-=-fill in application forms;
-=-participate in slow, simple conversations, familiar topics connected with one’s everyday life.
Provided amount of knowledge of grammar and vocabulary is necessary for the acquisition of language skills conformable to A1 level and to prepare the students for the continuation of learning on the next level.

Applied social psychology is a diverse and evolving sub-disciplinary academic field that combines the science of social psychology with the practical application of solving social problems that exist in the real world. This course will provide explanations of how social psychologists can contribute to the understanding and management of different social problems. The literature to be studied and discussed in this course illustrates how social psychological theories, research methods and intervention techniques can be successfully applied to social problems encountered in different domains of life, such as the fields of education, decision-making and economic behavior, physical and mental health, organizational issues, gender and sexuality issues, media, criminal justice and law issues, environmental behavior, political behavior, personal relationships and well-being.
Each section of this course will feature an overview of important problems, the role of human behavior in these problems, theoretical perspectives explaining the factors that influence relevant behavior, and effective ways to change this behavior.Throughout the course students will have to practice finding solutions to social problems by analyzing them from social psychological points of view, and designing relevant research and intervention problems to eliminate or manage the particular problems.
