The scientific-research component of the doctoral studies includes preparation and defense of the dissertation or performance and public presentation of dissertation (120 credits) at the dissertation board meeting. A doctoral student is obliged to present the candidate of research director and topic of the dissertation to the dissertation board for approval under the scientific-research component. The precondition for admission of the dissertation at the defense is completion of the learning component and a doctoral student should also participate in the scientific conference (make an individual report) in the field of dissertation thesis.
