The aim of the course is for the student to master the basics of informatics, the peculiarities of using information technologies and systems for information processing; and practical skills of using information systems in future professional activities.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student has developed the following competencies:
- Familiar with the relevant terminology, programs, tools and modern trends in information technology;
- Uses field-specific methods and online tools to solve the problem effectively;
- Creates a research / practical project in accordance with pre-defined criteria;
- Uses Internet technologies and searches for information through it, systematizes, organizes, evaluates and uses information;
- Uses Google applications effectively;
- Creates and shares electronic questionnaires, calendars, electronic documents;
- Creates Google sites and can use the appropriate editing options;
- is familiar with the presentation tool Prezi.com and can independently prepare an online presentation using it;
- Knows the basic essence, meaning and purpose of Ms PowerPoint Presentation when preparing a document;
- uses Ms PowerPoint Presentation tools to visualize information;
- Creatively uses modern information and communication technologies for effective academic communication, information transfer and sharing his / her achievements;
